Non intuitive interface

I have been attempting to sort my books via genre to no avail.
The posted pictures of the app interface do not match the current version of the app. Is there someway to search my books via genre? It only offers author or title.
This app needs better help info or a redesign. I am looking for another librarys out of frustration...how good is the app if I am unable to sort through my book collection at a moments notice?
