very useful, very nice app to build a database of my library I was quite fed up to buy books I already owned and had forgotten about. no longer happens now very comprehensive and the developper is quite responsive in his support thanks

very useful when you have books in different locations and need to be reminded of what you already read, own and want. Well organized, good screen layout, good interface thru ISBN and outside sites area for improvement: save to dropbox still a tad slow

I like the app but: - there is a bug in the author sorting - it would be usefull to share the library through Internet on different devices - no other french users ?-)

Great tool great features

It could only update the currency, because once I moved to one country to other, and it changed the currency automatically, but then I came back to the older country and the currency was not updated. But, despite this, I love this app very much!

Very good for control your book reading

To maintain a database about media like books seems to be a natural purpose for an app, however my experience is very mixed: I started with iBookshelf, where the scanner is quick but even best sellers are not found in the database - therefore I switched to Book Crawler: the scanner is a joke - even in totally identical situations it would one time work and the other time not, without any apparent reason or message. What is totally confusing: there is not whatsoever sign that the scanner is active. I got used to enter the ISBN via the "Google Books" input option, and this works very well! The overall look and feel is a bit "toyish", but I would it works and the app is overall much better than iBookshelf, also because it works in "landscape". Maybe the developer of Book Crawler can integrate the scanning module used by iBookshelf, than the app could become four stars or better :-)

The book does not sort by title! Bitte Update!!!!!!

Improved a lot with the recent updates and so handy great app love it.

This is a pretty good app in theory. However, it crashes a lot... Sometimes stops working altogether. Aside from the frequent bugs, if it could allow searches in other fields than title and other (subtitle or subject for instance) it could be a lot better. Its still a I notch above the rest of the similar apps for book inventory management etc.

I love this app! It is so easy to use, even my kids can input books. The scanner app that it recommended worked great and it is a quick process to add books. The category features allow customization and I love being able to satisfy my inner librarian.

Works well on my phone, very slow, but it works...but has never worked on my iPad. Would be great if it would work there.

Quite frankly the ISBN scanner freezes 80% of the time. It is actually faster to use the google option to find your books online. Instead of being a quick means to build a book database it is slow and tedious. I want my money back.

This is a great app for keeping track of books. Have used it for two years now and have zero complaints!

I have over 3000 books. I have tried other apps to keep track of them but nothing comes close to Book Crawler. It is simple yet elegant, lists your books in various views (by author, title, genre etc.), provides alternate ways to backup your data ( always important to do on a regular basis with ANY software) and the ISBN scanner works just fine. The developer is extremely helpful if you encounter any problems. The upgrade to iOS 7 caused a few but they worked hard to solve them and the app works as well as ever, that is to say excellently. Simply the best app available for book lovers, especially those with large libraries.

I got this app ages ago! Best APP I every purchased! I am a bookaholic and this is the perfect way to track what I have, what ive read, etc.. I no longer come home from the book store and find that I already had the book that I just bought!! Now, I just check when I am there! If I see something I am interested in, I just scan and go! LOVE IT!!!!!

This is one if my most used apps. Just went to open it and got a string of errors??? DB was corrupted and it failed at loading the last Dropbox backup? Now what do I do?

It was going great, I was able to get in about 30 books the the freezing started. 20131014. I wanted to recommend to a playschool for their library collection, this app needs to be more stable before that can happen.
