Recently maxed out on Lite version so I upgraded to paid version. Expected my books to carryover but had to find obscure export/import utility. Finally worked but NOT intuitive. Worse, still shows me as maxed out at 25 books. Emailed for help twice - no response.

I used to get a reply when I first started using this app several years ago and needed assistant. Now that the "link" option doesnt work, no one seems to give a flying fig and two emails for support have gone unanswered. Other quirks on the app just make me want to start over with a new app. I think I will give something better a try, although that means inputting ALL my books over again unless a export works (which is highly doubtful). Terribly disappointed as I used to really enjoy this app.

When I first used this app it was fantastic - now however it crashes, the search bar hangs up and the import/export doesnt work properly. Dont waste youre time trying to contact support - you wont get any.

Very handy app for keeping track of my books, but I wish it had a recommendation section.

Love this app for keeping track of my reading. At this stage in life Ive read enough books that it can be hard to remember them all. I like the wish list feature that I use at book sales, etc. I back it up to my iPad via dropbox but really wish they would sync so that I could make entries on either one.

User has hope and app creators might start by ranking user-comment suggestions and working on bugs out of this virtual library listing. Former/current star ranking appears accurate.

I love this app. Easy to use and more useful to me than Goodreads.

Text appears over other text in list view, no apparent way to bulk tag groups of books, and the interface is clunky and unintuitive. Lots of things go wrong that require quitting and re-opening.

Went from 5+ stars to unusable after recent updates. Very buggy, often freezes and must be restarted. Doesnt like switching from one view to another. Sorting is next to impossible. And it no longer seeks the info missing (finding the cover art etc). After waiting months to see some fixes, I am now looking to switch to something else - any recommendations?

What used to be one of my favorite APs is now an irritant. Can no longer enter date read. I keep a plan list in a spread sheet (like I used to) that works better than this! Now going back to spread sheet while I search for a new AP. I dont need frustration very time I use it.

Ive tried a couple different book tracker apps and this one is by far my favorite. I do wish the "search" function worked a little better but other than that Im happy.

Since the last update, using the ISBN scanner has been problematic. Most of the time when adding more than one book, I must completely close down the app between each entry. This is a real irritant. Otherwise I love the app.

It lost the ability to search a couple of years ago. Now the data entry is buggy. It overwrites a new book on top of an old book resulting in the author and data from a previous book being added to the current book. Still, it is useful if you are very careful in book entry and are willing to search by scrolling through an alphabetized list. I paid for the upgrade when it was a 5-star app and it does hold a lot of books.

Update 4/2016 This app has improved recently but still have the same issues that started in 2015. If you are happy with the goodreads app, dont waste your money on this. If want an app that allows you more control this is an ok app. Here are my suggestions to the designers, if they read these: Stop making this app freak out if you dont log onto Facebook! Please bring back the option to have decimals in the series! That was one of my favorite options and its been gone for 2 years. There are novellas between full books, so having the option for 2.5 is important. Also, please fix the series display in the title. If a series has the same title, but different sub titles, make it defer to the series number instead. If the goodreads app didnt stink, I would switch. Update 9/6/15 Now the app hardly works at all. It still makes me try to log into Facebook, and I cant edit any of my book entries. After so many updates you would think these issues would be solved. I have to suggest NOT purchasing this app now. I used to love it and now I cant even use it. Update 7/19/15 I am extremely frustrated with this update. When I try to post what Im reading to the community app it forces me out to try to get into Facebook. I still like the way the app is organized and I still use the app, but I wish I would work better. Also, really want the ability to make decimals in the series number. Update 7/7/15 While I still enjoy this app, I am not a fan of the most recent updates. There are lots of error messages and the app gets stuck on Facebook all the time. I dont even want it to connect to Facebook, but it wont stop trying. 2013 I love this app, it really useful and a joy to use. I would really like if there was an option for reading dates that allowed us to track multiple read dates. Some books need to be re-read and I wish I could keep track of how many time Ive read a book. Otherwise great app. Also, very good customer service. When the app goes down, it gets fixed quickly.

I have used Book Crawler for nearly 5 years and have enjoyed the ever-increasing functionality of the app. Although it has had some bumps along the way, I know that they are always working to make it better. I wasnt able to load the app at first, but I contacted the developer and she told me how to get it to load again. This developer is more responsive than any other developer I have come across. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me and always responding to issues.
